Cherie's Favourite Projects
One of my favourite projects to work on was managing the WHS compontent for the final seven months of the Green Hills shopping centre fitout, working with a fantastic team to facilitate the delivery of 70 tenancies on one day alone, as part of the $414M refurbishment. With over 2000 contractors onsite, I was dreaming of management plans and SWMS.
Standing at the top of Colongra Gas Power Station, looking down on the ground breaking project of which I managed the WHS component for the electrical installation, is a moment in time I often reflect on.
Recently completing an onsite project at the University of Newcastle, I had a full circle moment, managing the refurbishment of uni buildings that I gained my Occupational Health and Safety degree in.
Having completed multiple local government contracts and working for various private organisations on Tier 1 construction projects, I have a solid understanding of the health, safety and environmental requirements that apply to all parties.
